It stays cool in summer The gorge provides natural shade and the stream keeps temperatures down. When it's 30°C in Bled, Hvadnik is comfortable. 4. The Martuljek mountain backdrop Špik and the Martuljek group are visually spectacular, jagged, dramatic peaks that look different from the Triglav massif most tourists see. Views here feel undiscovered. The one-line pitch I'd use everywhere: "The only via ferrata in the Julian Alps that takes you through a gorge, not just up one."
