This tour offers a unique opportunity to get up close with penguins—up to 6 meters away! With a bit of luck, some of these curious birds might even approach you. As you journey to the penguin site, you’ll be immersed in the untouched beauty of the surrounding landscapes, including the stone runs and flatlands. As an added bonus, you’ll explore key city attractions such as Christ Church Cathedral, the Whale Bone Arch, the Liberation Monument, the Battle Day Monument, and a private whale bone collection. You’ll also see the governor’s residence and receive guidance on locating the museum. Our knowledgeable guides are here to answer any questions, and if you prefer, they can drop you off at the museum at the end of the tour. Note: Transportation to Berthas Beach is merely a transfer and might not offer commentary. Your guide will begin the tour once you arrive at Berthas until you are ready to leave the destination.
