Maputo Special Reserve was once known has the Elephant Reserve, and it is one of the “Pearls” that Mozambique has to offer. It was created in the 60’s and saw the animal populations decrease during the civil war. This magic place is reborn with a new strength. The animals are coming back, specially the Pachiderms, through eco corridors between South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique. The Reserve, one of the least known places in the World, will give you an unforgettable experience with the huge Landscape variety, where the Indian Ocean marine Ecosystems mix with the typical African plains and even dense forests.
