Discover Transylvania’s Saxon heritage on a relaxed cycling route that takes you through peaceful villages, forest paths and rolling countryside. We start in Avrig and follow quiet backroads toward Alma Vii, Biertan, Mălâncrav and Criș, stopping to explore each village at an easy pace. You’ll spend the night in Sighișoara, a UNESCO-listed medieval citadel, before continuing on one of Romania’s most enjoyable singletrack bike paths toward our final destination: the village of Viscri. Expect great local food, welcoming hosts and plenty of scenic views along the way.
